Youth Ministry

At EWC, we approach all children as unique individuals through the lens and love of Jesus. We believe in captivating, cultivating, counseling, and creating authentic opportunities for the next generation by providing a fun and engaging environment. All of our components are designed to be safe places where our children can learn new and exciting things about God, while being led and cared for by adult volunteers from our congregation. Every 2nd and 4th Sunday is dedicated to our youth as we interact through scripture, study biblical themes, whole group discussions and attend awesome youth events hosted by EWC. Our youth have the opportunity to learn the Word of God, gain salvation, deliverance and encounter prayer. It’s our belief that our children will not only discover new things about God, but also begin to understand how those things connect to their individual lives.

REACH Women (ages 18+)

Through the REACH Ministry, we aim to review, awaken, and charge women toward the will of God in their lives. We stretch out toward each other and God for strength and encouragement as we empower and influence change in our homes, families, workplace and communities.

Greeters/Hospitality Ministry

From the moment you walk through the door, we promise to exhibit the love of Christ through our service. We are the ministry that everyone encounters when they walk through the doors of Encouraging Word Church. As a ministry we hold ourselves to a standard of excellence as we set the atmosphere for our church environment through our smiles, words, and posture. Outreach Ministry

Our outreach ministry aims to meet communities through spirt and in truth. We are advocates for eternal salvation, as we evangelize through giving back to those who God has compelled us to love from the place of their need. We have had the privilege of engaging communities of all ages through community prayer, mental health awareness and our annual back to school event. As we continue to provide various facets of resources through our ministry, we are believing God for deliverance amongst the life of every individual we come in contact with. This ministry will help blossom and strengthen your faith, as well as cultivate your vision and heart for the people of God. We look forward to having you become a part of our family.

Arts Ministry

Music, Drama, and Liturgical Dance
The mission of the EWC Arts Ministry is to use the artistic gifts of music, drama, and liturgical dance to glorify God. This ministry supports the constant structure of our service as we engage the congregation in praise and worship. We encourage members to share their creative gifts regardless of gender, age, or experience. As we express ourselves through song, dance, and acting - we ignite an authentic form of worship that captivates the hearts, minds, and spirit of every believer.

Media Ministry

As we follow the steps of our Heavenly Father, we believe in providing various forms of communication to the believers, based on the need of the hearer and the message in question. We are a vital but silent group that supports the ministry of EWC through our audio, video and graphic talents. Through this ministry, we strive to sow seeds on as much soil as possible. Technology allows us to connect and meet with individuals where they are until they are able to come to where we are. Security Staff Ministry

We believe we have been chosen by God to watch over ourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made us overseers. As a ministry, we hold steadfast to wisdom as we seek the face of God in developing continuous strategies of security and safety for EWC. The members of our team are strategically selected, and prepared to manage seen and unforeseen threats to the church. Our highest priority is that God be glorified in all that we do and say, as we upkeep the safety of our surroundings.
